Alan AKA gran.....dad! Was one of the most thoughtful, playful, lively, lovely man i have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was so full of life it was hard to believe it when he got so poorly.

I have only known him for the last 3 years but wow what an impact on my life he made! He taught me how to become a gardener, be good at it and enjoy it! He taught me to slow down and take everythjng in, the birds, animals and plants everywhere. This in its self is funny as he never seemed to slow down!

He had such a funny sense of humour and there was never a dull moment with him around. He would make you laugh so hard you would cry.

He was a lovely family man and a very loyal friend. Thank you Alan for just being you. Xxx
